Most people agree that New Orleans is one of the most unique and interesting cities on the planet. A wonderful combination of French, Creole and Louisiana cultures combine there to produce a fascinating and wonderful mashup of food, music, drink and fun.
One of my favorite places in the French Quarter is the famous Cafe du Monde. It's a totally unique establishment that's been a New Orleans tradition since 1862. And what are they famous for there? Why cafe au lait and the most wonderful little french donuts called beignets, of course.
Since doing low carb, I thought beignets were a thing of the past for me. That is until I found this amazing recipe for Low Carb/Keto Beignets over at Low Carb Meals.
